Dance Arts Gillette offers classes to students age 5-Adult. Students must turn of age by October 15th to be eligible for the Dance Season which runs from September - May.
Cecchetti USA Ballet Exams
As a Cecchetti USA Certified Classical Ballet School, we use our Ballet Exams to progress students through our levels. Teachers will prepare students for exams in classes and they are an integral part of the success of our program. Students begin taking exams at age 7 under the instruction of our certified teachers.
Monthly Tuition & Refund Policy
Preferred method of payment is via our online parent portal with CREDIT/DEBIT Card or Monthly Auto Pay. As an alternative, checks may be accepted payable to Dance Arts Gillette. A $30 Non-Sufficient fee will be assessed for all returned checks.
Tuition and Monthly Balances will be posted between the 1st & 3rd of each month on due by the 10th.
Balances not paid by the 15th of the month will be charged a $15.00 Late Fee and accrue an additional $5.00 per week in fees until balance is paid.
Tuition is not prorated for missed classes, Holidays or weather related closures. Your monthly fee is tabulated to include Holiday breaks and weather closures.
Tuition/Payments for all Guest Teachers, Workshops & Costume Fees are non-refundable.
Accounts cannot hold a balance due of more than $250 for more than 4 weeks. Students will not be allowed to participate in classes or performances until account is in good standing.
All accounts must be paid in full by May 15th or students may NOT participate in our annual End of Season Production.
Annual Registration Fees are $33 per student OR $55 per family. Registration fee includes access to our Student Library where students may check out books and DVDs.
Registration for each Dance Season begins in August. Our Seasons are from September - May. We accepts registration through December or until classes are full. Students may be able to register mid-season if space is available.
Dance Arts has a $33 annual registration fee which includes student access to our Dance Library.
Dance Arts typically follows the Campbell County School Districts Holiday breaks and school closures. Students and Families will be provided with a "Calendar of Events" that lists all holiday breaks and pre-scheduled closures.
If Campbell County Schools are closed due to weather, Dance Arts typically will be closed as well. If the studio must close early due to weather, students and families will be notified via text message.
Dance Arts Students will perform in an Annual Ballet Production at the end of the dance season each May. In January of a given year, students and families will have a choice to be a part of the production. Each family that commits will have required costume purchases that are non-refundable. There may or may not be a recital fee, this is dependent on the venue chosen for the production. All attendees of the Production will need to purchase tickets. Ticket Prices will vary.
Dance Arts Youth Company Students may be provided with other performance opportunities throughout the year. Such as local & out of state competitions and community performances.
Dance Arts Youth Company
The Dance Arts Youth Company (DAYC) is a performing Company for committed dancers in our Intermediate, Progressive & Advanced Divisions. All eligible students are invited to audition for the Company at the start of each Season.
Dancers are selected based on their technical ability, work ethic and attitude. DAYC Students are expected to be exemplar examples of our Etiquette and Conduct.
Company members are required to attend additional classes, rehearsals, performances and competitions. Families must make financial commitments to these events which include a monthly fee, costumes, company attire, entry fees and required dance workshops. Each Company member is also required to do community service and volunteering throughout the Season.
